The organization is also adding an additional location, Bear Creek Elementary, beginning Tuesday, May 26. This location will serve curbside meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner), Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. (Thursdays pickup will include three meals for Friday, Saturday and Sunday.)
If your student(s) will be returning in August to Katy ISD, their current cafeteria balance will roll forward to next school year. Refund requests can take up to six or eight weeks to process. Due to COVID-19, processing may take a little longer. We appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience.
Free or Reduced Meal Application:
If your economic status has changed, you still have the opportunity to complete a free or reduced meal application through SchoolCafe. If you submit the application now, you will receive the approved meal benefit for the first 30 operating days of the 2020-2021 school year. After 8/1/2020, you will need to re-apply and benefits will qualify your student(s) for the entire 2020-2021 school year.
Connect Texas Families to Nutrition Assistance:
The COVID-19 pandemic continues to threaten the health, well-being and food security of families. The District and other organizations are working hard to provide meals to children throughout Texas, and many families are still struggling. Many more families may be eligible for federal nutrition programs due to the economic impacts of the current crisis. This is a great opportunity to encourage families to apply for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP.)

Serving Our Seniors
GRACE FELLOWSHIP has reached out to many assisted living and memory care facilities throughout Katy and asked how we can share God’s love and joy with their staff and residents during this crazy, crazy time. You and your family can easily bring smiles of joy and much needed spiritual uplifting to seniors who are lonely, isolated, or in some cases, even forgotten!
Let’s also celebrate and encourage their caretakers too. Often, they work for minimum wage and work selflessly to love on and serve our grandparents, parents, aunts, uncles, sisters and brothers! This is a great opportunity for us to show our appreciation for all they do!

Please put your donation(s) in separate plastic bags for easier distribution to the many facilities throughout Katy. Please contact email@example.com to arrange pickup.

KISD Breakfast & Lunch Locations
To assist our families in meeting the needs of students during the district closure next week, school breakfast and lunches will be offered to all Katy area children ages 0-18, free of charge. Children do not need to be an enrolled Katy ISD student in order to receive a meal.
The meals will be served at the campuses listed below from 9:00 a.m. -11:30 a.m. Monday through Friday, beginning on Monday, March 16, 2020. All meals will be provided in a “grab and go” style outside of the cafeteria near the covered walkway where buses pickup and drop off students. Families will not be able to enter the campus during the meal service.
