When our Katy-area pastors learned that Hurricane Harvey was headed our way, they met to pray and strategically plan to care for the people of our community. Each of our churches took ownership of a slice of the disaster response pie and also worked to support our key non-profit ministry partners to ensure a rapid and practical response.
Over the past weeks we have seen our churches work cooperatively to do what Jesus did best — to move in the direction of people in need in order to bring help, hope, and healing. We know that hundreds of families in our community still have a long road to recovery ahead of them. We remain committed to walk that journey with them.
